This specialist training is aimed at professionals working within the perinatal services.

The training will be 6 hours in total consisting of two half day sessions of 3 hours per session starting from £590 per session. This covers a team of up to 20 delegates.

Part 1: Perinatal Mental Health and Autism

Covering: What is autism, how to identify autism in people accessing your services as well as adjustments and strategies you can use to support autistic mothers in pregnancy and parenthood.

Part 2: Perinatal Mental Health and Learning Disabilities

Covering: What is a learning disability, how to identify people using your service who may have a learning disability, other common co-occurring needs within this population as well as adapting your support and being aware of your obligations under the Equality Act to ensure your service is accessible to people with a learning disability.

This training is aimed at all health and social care workers with a focus on adulthood.
